Pet Naturals Flea and Tick PreventionTip #2 Inspect pet regularly. Signs that your dog or cat may be infected
include constant scratching and visible irritation of the skin. Combing
through the coat will allow you to take a closer look at your furry friend's
coat and skin. Try a flea comb to help inspect. The fine-toothed comb
will help you easily identify the severity of the infestation.Tip #3 Bathe pet often. Keeping your dog or cat clean will remove any flea saliva (this can irritate the skin) and make it easy to spot any critters. If an infestation is known, bathing with a flea shampoo is a quick fix. Remember, treating the animal alone may not solve your problem. Always take care to treat your house as the fleas could have made their way inside.Tip #4 Keep tabs on the condition of your pet's skin. Dry and itchy skin is an ideal environment for pesky fleas. A well-balanced diet enriched with omegas can help maintain healthy skin and coat.
